PIMS School of Nursing is the youngest establishment of the Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences, was founded in 2024. With the intention of providing quality nursing education and equipping nurses with the most elevated level of training and practice. The School of Nursing is affiliated to the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC). The School, Under the aegis of our beloved Chairman, Mr V Anil Kumar, aims at identifying the health needs of the people, planning, and providing quality care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals and community groups. PIMS is a prestigious institution situated in the Walayar Valley, part of the Western Ghats, the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu acting as a gateway of Kerala.
Our Goal
Our Goal is to prepare the nursing students to combat current nursing challenges and demands of the society. We believes that on completion of the course he/she will be able to provide quality care to achieve the goal of nursing.
The faculty will strive to inculcate in the students not only knowledge but moral responsibilities, dedication and ethics required in nursing profession.
